Amsterdam royal palace has dominated Dam Square for over 3,5 centuries. It is one of Europe's finest classical buildings. Though the exterior may be somewhat monotonous, the white marble sculptured interior is absolutely splendid. The highlight is the large hall, that is with its nearly 30 metres altitude, the largest in its kind in the world.

The palace can be visited throughout the year.
